Love seeing a fellow stacker talk about other investments. I see too many who "don't trust" these other investments like the market or crypto. Gold and silver will not compound like other investments, but they have their place. I plan on holding about 5% of my net worth in gold/silver (only when looking at crypto/equities and not including home in net worth). It's a fun hobby that has value and has "some" potential to grow.

recently started stacking silver last month and already have 100 oz bar, 2 10 oz Germania mint and a Brittannia 10oz bar. It’s basically a fiat transfer to sound money to me. Plan to Dca about 10 oz a month from here on out.
In 1979ish there was a couple of Texas fellas tried to corner the market on Silver and or Gold. I had stacked or saved from my job as a cashier bunch of dimes, quarters, halves and dollars over a few years. I was shocked when I got over 3k for it. I put it down on another house as part of my bridge loan but not for that windfall I may have moved and received a chance opportunity to move. I’ve bought and sold homes after that one. I’m grateful I had it put away. I’ve since stack a small amount again…so you never know but you can always try and get ready for an opportunity. Others will say you’re lucky.? and you are! ?
