  1. Thought so was supposed to eliminate the boring tasks. Turns out, it just eliminated all of the fun in trying to catch students not paying attention

  2. A dictatorial totalitarian state, fueled by export-oriented economy and cheap labor, powered by AI technologies and mass surveillance, has become a techno-dystopic hemomgeny. This is a very disturbing universe.

  3. Also, this is CHINA, we don't care about WELLBEING, we care about SCORES, and that's it. I am asian, so trust me on this

  4. That one student who didn't pay attention probably got whacked, but I think that this is actually good, given that I hate it when no one's paying attention and they're in my team.

  5. I would be interested in finding out which of the comments are given by people from different countries. I can see the positives and the benefits to both the children and the country. I can also see some possible negatives. But one thing is definite, all the children involved will learn the power of concentration and self discipline. I wouldn´t mind my husband wearing one so I can see whether he is really listening to me!

  6. why the western media is banned from China, because they unanimously, belligerently distort the truth with unimaginable exaggeration.

  7. as a quarter chinese girl, i believe that its good that people like them are smart, but the way its making them like this is just mental prison. ai detecting phones out and yawning? YAWNING? how can parents get u in trouble for yawning? ????????

  8. I'm a programmer but this is horrible. China is using AI the wrong way. Humans are not machines. Instead they should use those head devices to monitor the prisoners.

  9. I appreciate this technical advancement .but as a school going student what I thinks if I don't like maths and my teacher is observing me at every time so its not good enough . its a kind of pressure . She needs to change her teaching way .

  10. I'm not the type of person who sounds the alarm at every technological advancement, but this definitely gives me Orwellian vibes. Especially having taught in China before, I know how intense they are about education (especially parents) and this seems like it will just increase the already immense pressure placed on students.
