Thanks for the video! Looking at chwy calls for July monthly opex. Head and shoulders into a cup and handle. Will be looking for a breakout. What do you think?
Three questions – I hold small positions in XLE and XLF, looking to add.
1. What are your thoughts on the Seasonality of XLE – I notice that in July – Jan we usually steady gains in energy. Obviously we have another factor in 2020 given the virus.
2. What macro factors do you see playing out on XAU – I do not see any trend from a calendar perspective, however, it did not fare well going into the Nov 2016 (election)
3. I do not believe XLF will be gaining, however, I am looking to add to RY and JPM positions to increase my core relative to short term positions. In a summer lull, do you think people go back to dividend stocks and wait out until the election? Likewise, do you see the damage from Powell being done, or is there more downside here.
Trading stocks on your own or without a good strategy and a proper risk management system in place is just as good as you gambling.
